Spot welding tong: used to realize the pressurization of the welded workpiece (plate). The welding tongs used by the robot are usually the transformer and the clamp body are installed together to form a whole, which is called "one-piece welding tong". In practical use, it is necessary to make a special design for the welding tong body according to the particularity of the dotting orientation, and only in this way can we ensure that the welding tong reaches the orientation of the welding joint.

It is necessary for the robot spot welding tong to adapt to the welding standards required by the spot welding workpiece, and the basic principles are:

1. According to the raw materials and plate thickness of the workpiece, confirm the maximum short-circuit current and the maximum pressure of the electrode of the welding tong;

2. According to the shape of the workpiece and the orientation of the solder joint on the workpiece, confirm the throat depth, throat width, electrode grip, large stroke, working stroke, etc. of the welding pliers;

3. Comprehensively integrate the orientation distribution of all solder joints on the workpiece to confirm what kind of welding tongs to choose, there are usually four kinds of welding tongs that are more pervasive, namely: C-type single-stroke welding tongs, C-type double-stroke welding tongs, X-type single-stroke welding tongs, X-type double-stroke welding tongs;

4. In the case of satisfying the above conditions, reduce the weight of the welding tong as much as possible.
