OTC welding robot program protection function settings

When important program requirements are protected from being modified, we can set the maintenance function, i.e., the file maintenance setting. In general, there are two types of file maintenance settings, simple selective maintenance and maintenance of passwords (ciphers) for requirement setting. Here's how to set it up:

1. Selective maintenance and exemption of documents

To change the level of maintenance, select "File Operation" - "Maintenance" to enter the maintenance settings interface.

Enter the setting interface, select "Internal Memory" - "Overall Maintenance" - "Programs" through the arrow keys in turn, and then fill in the program number "1" required for maintenance below the "Program" column.

The setup success message is displayed.

If you adjust the program "1" that you just set for maintenance, you can find that there is a red cursor symbol in the upper left corner of "Program". The program maintenance setting is successful.

If you want to be exempted from maintenance, select "Maintenance Exemption" under the "Maintenance Type" column in the Settings page, and the other steps are the same as setting maintenance.

OTC welding robots are also commonly used with the most ubiquitous equipment: FDB6 (now FDV8) robot body + FDII control cabinet + DM350/WB350 welding machine. This equipment is mainly welded mild steel (iron) and stainless steel. The welding function is superior, compared with other ***, the OTC welding function is still good, the practicability is relatively extensive, and the operation is convenient.

There is also a kind of high-end equipment that is not widely used on the market to weld aluminum alloys: FDB4 (now FDV8) robot body + FDII control cabinet + DW300 welding machine + servo welding gun. This equipment is expensive and the welding is very good.
