Siemens APT Relays - What are the relays that burn out?

1. The position of the auxiliary contact is not suitable.

After the switch has been tripped, the mechanical part has the phenomenon of moving and wearing, resulting in the position of the auxiliary contact being offset to the correct position, when the protective action trips, when the auxiliary contact is not disconnected, the outlet electrical appliance, electrical appliance and relay have returned, that is, the intermediate electrical appliance and relay contact are disconnected before the auxiliary contact.

As a result, the DC power supply is disconnected by intermediate appliances and relay contacts and burned. Therefore, in the event of an accident, although the protection has been activated, the switch has not been activated, resulting in skipping tripping.

2. The switch tripping mechanism is stuck.

Due to the lack of maintenance, the switch mechanism does not work well when operating, and there is a place where there is jamming, and it cannot trip normally, so that the intermediate electrical appliances and relay coils are charged for a long time, and the coils of the intermediate appliances and relays are burned out for a long time, and they cannot act correctly.

3. The core of the switch coil falls off or is stuck.

Due to the normal operation of the switch for many times and the fault after the switch, the top wire of the switch core is loosened, causing the switch core to fall off, and in the event of a failure, the switch can not be dropped, so that the outlet intermediate electrical appliances and relays are charged for a long time, and the electrical appliances and relay coils or contacts are burned.
