APT/Siemens Shanghai ErgongFounded in 1993, APT is a leading brand of low-voltage control electrical appliances in China, the brand name is derived from the first letters of three English words, Advanced (A), Perfect (P), Top (T), which means: advanced, perfect, excellent. In August 2008, Siemens acquired the APT brand and assets, and APT became a subsidiary of Siemens. After APT was integrated into Siemens, it continued to focus on the development and production of buttons, signal lights, transfer switches, relays, control boxes, current transformers, limit switches and other important low-voltage products.

In January 2009, the APT logistics distribution system was standardized; In March, for the first time, the sales staff target agreement was introduced for performance management, and the employee salary appraisal system was reformed. In June, the SAP system was officially launched, and a customer credit control system was established.

In January 2010, APT Shanghai Branch's Jiading Factory was merged into Tiantai Factory. In March, APT officially introduced EBP for indirect material procurement; In April, APT's first new product, PB1M metal button, was officially launched; In June, the inventory management barcode system of Tiantai factory was officially put into use.

On May 8, 2019, APT's new x.R series relays were launched, and on September 20, the FY19 Siemens APT National Dealer Annual Conference was held in Jinan.
