Usefulness of annotations in the KUKA robot programming language

Create Date: 2024-8-30 12:03:23|Source: KUKA

Annotations are the parts that make up/clarify in a programming language. All programming utterances consist of computer instructions (code) and hints (comments) to a text editor.

If the source program (compilation, commentary, etc.) is further processed, the processing software ignores the comments and therefore does not affect the result.

Usefulness of annotations in the KUKA robot programming language

Line annotations are used in the KUKA controller, i.e. they are automatically completed at the end of the line.

Comments alone cannot make a program readable, but it can improve the readability of a well-structured program. The programmer can annotate and annotate the program without the controller understanding it as syntax.

The programmer is responsible for making the annotation consistent with the current state of the programming instruction. Therefore, it is also essential to review the notes when making changes to the program and adjust them if necessary.

The content of the annotation and its usefulness can be chosen by the editor, and there are no strict rules for syntax. Annotations are usually written in "human" language, or in the author's native or commonly spoken language.

A clarification of the content or functionality of the program

You can choose what you want and what you can use
