A robot can be equipped with a working space. The working space provides security for the equipment. There are two types of workspaces:

1. The working space is a forbidden area

Only robots are allowed to operate outside of the workspace.

2. Only the working space is allowed

The robot is not allowed to operate outside of the work space.

The repercussions of a robot outside of the working space depend on the condition of its equipment.

Possible repercussions such as the robot being stopped and a message being given. In this case, the workspace monitoring function must be bridged. The robot can then be removed from the restricted area from its head.

Procedure

1. In the main menu, select Equip ≥ East-West > Work Space Monitoring ≥ Bridging.

2. Manually drive the robot out of the restricted area.

When the robot is out of the restricted area, the workspace monitoring function is automatically activated from the beginning.
