1. Incremental Encoder:

The incremental encoder is capable of generating the bearing. Information such as viewpoints and revolutions. The control device calculates the number of pulses from the reference point to confirm the current position. After activation, the encoder needs to operate the reference point to return to the reference point to confirm the encoder's practical orientation.

The incremental encoder directly uses the photoelectric conversion principle to output three sets of square wave pulses A.B and Z phases; The phase difference between the two groups of pulses in A.B is 90 degrees, which is convenient for judging the direction of rotation, while the Z phase is one pulse per rotation and is used for fiducial positioning. Its advantages are that the principle structure is simple, the average mechanical life can reach more than tens of thousands of hours, the anti-interference ability is strong, the reliability is high, and it is suitable for long-distance transmission. The disadvantage is that it cannot output positive bearing information for shaft rotation.

2. Affirmative Encoder:

Directions can be generated. viewpoint, number of revolutions, etc., and calculate the step distance of the specified type. As a result, each step angle is assigned a unique pattern. The number of patterns available for each turn determines the resolution. Each pattern can form a unique reference point, providing positive orientation information. As a result, no reference point can be used to measure such encoders after activation. A singleturn encoder measures a positive bearing within a circle. A multiturn encoder not only measures the bearing within a lap, but also provides the number of turns.

A positive encoder is a sensor that outputs a number directly. It has several concentric discs radially on its circular disc. Each road consists of light-transmitting and light-opaque fan zones. The fan trees of adjacent tracks are twofold. The number of tracks on a code disc is the number of digits of its binary digits. One side of the disk is the light source, and the other side corresponds to each channel with a photosensitive element. When the disk is in different directions, each photosensitive element forms a binary number according to whether the light converts the corresponding level signal. The characteristic of this encoder is that there is no need for a counter. You can view the fixed numeric code for the corresponding direction in any direction of the reel. 3. Hybrid affirmative encoder:

The hybrid positive encoder outputs two sets of information, one is used to detect the polar orientation with the positive information function; The other set is exactly the same as the incremental encoder.
