The intention of using the inverter is to change the speed of the motor by changing the output frequency of the inverter, so how to adjust the output frequency of the inverter? The key is to change the signal of the frequency supplied by the frequency device, this signal is called "frequency given signal", and the frequency signal comes from the following methods:
First, the operator panel is given
Operator panel setting is the simplest frequency giving method of the inverter, and the user can directly change the set rate of the inverter through the potentiometer, digital key, or rise and fall keys on the inverter operator panel.
The biggest advantage of the operator panel is that it is simple and convenient, and it has the function of monitoring, that is, it can display the current, voltage, and speed of the inverter in real time.
If you choose the number of keys or the rise and fall keys of the keyboard, then the number is the most given, and the accuracy and resolution are very high. If the potentiometer on the optional operator is given, it is attributed to the analog quantity, and the accuracy is slightly lower, but because there is no need for additional wiring like the analog input of the external potentiometer, it is very practical.
Second, the external potentiometer is given
The frequency is conditioned by a potentiometer input from outside the inverter.
Third, the multi-function input terminal is given
The set frequency value of the inverter can be changed by the multi-function input terminal of the inverter, which can be connected to the output point of the external button or PLC or relay.
In the function input terminal of the inverter, two or more of the terminals are used for a given frequency through the function setting. Commonly used are:
1. Forward rotation and rotation are given: choose any two of the multi-function input terminals, and make them "forward" terminals and "rotation" terminals through functional presets.
2. Multi-stage speed given: select a number of multi-function input terminals, and make it a multi-stage speed control terminal through functional presetting, as shown in the figure below, through the different combinations of these terminals, different speeds can be obtained.
Fourth, the analog quantity is given
It is given by the RS485 interface or PLC supplied by the frequency converter. The analog quantity is given by inputting the analog signal from the outside through the analog terminal of the inverter, and the output frequency of the inverter is changed by adjusting the size of the analog quantity.
1. Voltage signal given: In the case of Dadu, the given power supply supplied inside the inverter is used to obtain the required voltage signal through the external access potentiometer, and the inverter often has two or more voltage signal inputs.
The scale of the given voltage is: 0 - +10V, 0 - ± 10V, 0 - +5V, 0 - ±5V, etc.
2. The current signal is given: the given scale is: 0-20mA and 4-20mA.
