The busbar is fixed to the insulator. Its terminal is usually fixed with bolts, in order to compensate for temperature changes and machining errors, a long slot hole is processed on the busbar and is usually fixed with a splint or a clamping plate in the central supporting part, which can avoid punching holes on the busbar, but the clamping plate is not too strong and simply announces the sound of bus vibration. The splint must not form a magnetic circuit to prevent iron loss. When connecting the busbar to the busbar, the same material should be used. If copper and aluminum are connected, a copper-aluminum transition plate should be used.
