Tubular bus is a new type of equipment that is widely used in our current days, and it itself has the characteristics of high current, outstanding insulation and wide range of application, so we don't seem to be too worried about its function and role when using it. But there is one thing that we need to pay attention to - that is, its anti-corrosion operation. What are the types of corroded tubular busbars?

                               Types of corrosion of Wiener tubular busbars

1. Crevice corrosion

When there is a gap between the surface of the tubular bus and other things, the corrosion in the gap will be accelerated due to the difference in the action of the inflatable battery, but there is no effect on the outside of the gap. However, crevice corrosion has little to do with the type of alloy, as even very corrosion-resistant alloys can produce crevice corrosion. Corrosion under build-up is a method of crevice corrosion.

2. Galvanic corrosion

This kind of corrosion is what we often call bimetallic corrosion, which is mainly determined by the relative orientation of the two metal potential sequences of the tubular busbar, and the larger their potential difference, the more severe the galvanic corrosion.

3. Intergranular corrosion

This corrosion is associated with improper heat treatment of tubular busbars, which accelerates intergranular corrosion when alloying elements or intermetallic compounds accumulate and precipitate along grain boundaries.

4. Pitting corrosion

This is a kind of corrosion shape on the metal that produces pinpoint-like, point-like, and porous shapes, and it is also a common method, an autocatalytic process, and in severe cases, it can also lead to perforation.
