CARLO® – short for Cold Ablation, Robot-guided Laser Ostetome – provides a way to perform osteotomy automatically, following a pre-planned cutting line through a full digital workflow and cryolaser resection. The laser head is mounted on the LBR Med, which has been specially developed for medical use. This skill allows surgeons to perform osteotomy with high precision, following the freedom theory, curve direction, and patient-specific configuration, which is not possible with conventional instruments.
