From May 25 to 30, the 2023 Zhongguancun Forum was held in Beijing with the theme of "Open Collaboration, Sharing the Future", and the global technology leader ABB participated in this technology event for the third consecutive year. The opening ceremony of the 2023 Zhongguancun International Technology Trading Conference and the Global Technology Trading Ecological Companion Conference is an important part of the Zhongguancun Forum. Together, at the special press conference of serious scientific and technological achievements of Zhongguancun Forum, Beijing ABB Electric Drive System Co., Ltd. was awarded the "Beijing Foreign Investment Research and Development Center". As an international science and technology exchange summit, this year's Zhongguancun Forum will gather through six exhibition areas with a total area of 27,000 square meters to showcase cutting-edge technology and innovative achievements. ABB's multi-dimensional greenhouse gas monitoring and induction solution can meet the needs of various gas monitoring in one stop, from space to land, from fixed pollution sources to atmospheric environmental stations, from point to line measurement, providing high-density and three-dimensional monitoring technology and application of "space-ground-space", accurately quantifying the emission monitoring of various greenhouse gases from cities, industrial infrastructure and agriculture, and providing data support for the implementation of the national "dual carbon" policy and occupational emission reduction policy.

In China, the ABB MobileGuard™ vehicle-mounted high-precision gas leakage detection system, which is combined with Beidou precise positioning services, has been opened and used in Beijing, Chongqing, Urumqi and other places, completing nearly 200 testing services, testing more than 100,000 kilometers of gas pipelines, and providing testing services and technical support for more than 150 gas companies across the country. In Beijing alone, the solution has provided security for many serious international and domestic events such as the 2018 Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, the 2nd Belt and Road International Cooperation Summit, the 2019 Beijing International Horticultural Expo, the 6th International Internet Conference, and the Beijing Winter Olympics.

On May 30, Zhao Yongzhan, President of ABB Electric China, was also invited to attend the parallel forum of Zhongguancun Forum on "Intelligent Production Innovation", and announced a keynote speech around "Exploration of ABB's Green Intelligent Production", sharing ABB's practical cases and experience in green intelligent production, and providing reference for career transformation and sustainable development. He said: "With the widespread use of digital, low-carbon, and intelligent technologies in the manufacturing industry, green and intelligent production has increasingly become the main direction of China's manufacturing industry. The state has issued a series of development plans and action plans to promote the process of high-quality and sustainable development of the manufacturing industry. ABB is committed to being driven by market demand, adhering to people-oriented, boldly exploring in production practices, and striving to build a more efficient, safer and more sustainable modern factory. ”

In his speech, Zhao Yongzhan focused on sharing ABB's recent project case of UniGear500 medium-voltage switchgear intelligent production line promotion. Faced with multiple challenges such as capacity bottlenecks, quality improvement and cost pressures, ABB upgraded and transformed its traditional production lines, created successive single-piece outflow production lines, planned a new production organization method for discrete production scenarios, and arranged robot installation workstations integrating machine vision and deep learning algorithms in high-complexity key stations, increasing production capacity and delivery speed by 31% and 50% respectively, and reducing production line space by 31%. Together, front-line workers will be transferred from manual labor to the operation and management of intelligent equipment and systems, so as to open up a broader space for the intelligent future of talent promotion and man-machine collaboration.

During the forum, ABB also signed the "Proposal for Companion Program for Intelligent Production Ecological Collaboration" with a number of enterprises, and all parties worked together to carry out research and standardized development of common technologies for intelligent production, study the evaluation method of intelligent production power ability, promote the interconnection and interoperability of production data, build a fundamental digital bottom layer, make machines ubiquitous readable and intelligently executed, continuously deepen the ecological collaboration of intelligent production, build a production model that is recognized together, and let the collaborative results contribute to the healthy recovery and sustainable development of the international economy.
