ABB E-mobility signs a new Global Framework Agreement (GFA) with Shell to offer its complete portfolio of charging solutions
GFA builds on a long-standing partnership between the two companies and will see ABB EV support Shell in creating a global charging network
The charging solutions provided by ABB will include the Terra 360, the world's fastest all-in-one EV charger
ABB E-mobility and Shell are taking their collaboration to the next level, bringing flexible and high-quality charging to millions of EV drivers.
ABB E-mobility, a leader in EV charging infrastructure, has signed a new global framework agreement with Shell to serve ABB's end-to-end portfolio of AC and DC charging stations. The portfolio ranges from AC wallboxes for home, work, or retail installations to Terra 360 for gas stations, city charging stations, retail parking lots, and fleet applications.
Through this partnership, ABB E-mobility and Shell will help solve two challenges in increasing the adoption of electric vehicles. First, the availability of charging infrastructure, Shell aims to operate more than 500,000 charging points globally by 2025 and 2,500,000 charging points at residential, commercial or Shell retail sites by 2030. This is followed by charging speed, with ABB's portfolio of charging stations including its Terra 360 chargers.

ABB is a global leader in EV charging solutions and the preferred partner of the world's largest EV OEMs and operators of EV charging networks across the country, having sold more than 680,000 EV chargers in more than 85 markets; Over 30,000 DC fast chargers and 650,000 AC chargers, including those sold through Chargedot.
ABB is the title partner of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, an international racing series for all-electric single-seaters. Its technology supports the activities of the Global City Street Circuit, and the company will be the official charging provider for Season 9.
