A reducer is a device that drives an output shaft with a high-speed input, and it is usually designed as a large gear in a geometry with the same number of teeth as the number of input gears. 2 The operation mode of helical gears

When the helical gear speed is higher than the input shaft gear, it rotates the output shaft gear in the opposite direction. This allows the reducer to provide higher output torque in a small size, making it more effective in many applications.

3 The operation mode of planetary gears

Planetary gears are considered to be the most commonly used reducer organization. It consists of a circular gear (the sun gear) and several gears that rotate around it (planetary gear). There is also a rotation shaft on the planetary wheel, which rotates around the sun wheel. The sun wheel can rotate at a certain speed, and the planetary wheel synchronized with the sun wheel will rotate at a smaller speed.
