Components of the Industrial Robot Palletizing System – Yamaha

The industrial robot palletizing system is not operated independently by the robot in practical applications, but cooperates with the automated equipment to perform the system operation. The industrial robot palletizing system is generally composed of 4 subsystems, and the electrical control subsystem controls the operation process and beat of the entire palletizing system. The material transfer subsystem transports the material to the robot's work area, which then picks up the item and places it on the active pallet system. When the robot finishes the accumulation of a pile of goods, the active pallet conveyor system will actively move the material to a designated location, and then it will be transported by a forklift or other handling equipment. Each subsystem consists of modules as shown in Figure 1.

Palletizing robot system: robot body, robot controller, robot gripper, safety fence and base, etc.

Active pallet conveying system: pallet warehouse, light/heavy duty conveyor, heavy duty roller table, lifting rice transplanter, etc.

Material conveying system: belt conveyor line, pneumatic pressing equipment, linear slide rail, spiral slide rail, steering roller table. Upper flattening equipment, lower oscillation conveyor line, material forming equipment, U-turn equipment, etc.

Electrical and electrical system: PLC, pneumatic equipment, transformers, detection sensors, power motors, etc.
