Before dismantling, you should fully understand the function, orientation, connection mode and connection between each electrical component and other surrounding equipment. If there is no installation drawing, a sketch is made and marked during the disassembly process.

Outside first, then inside

Look at the exterior of the machine to see if there are obvious cracks and defects, understand its protection history and service life, and then look inside the machine. Before dismantling, the surrounding fault factors must be eliminated, and the internal fault must be determined before dismantling. Otherwise, blindly taking it apart will make the device worse and worse.

Mechanical before electrical

An electrical inspection should only be carried out after acknowledging that there is no fault with the mechanical parts. When looking for circuit faults, use the detector to find the faulty parts. After admitting that there is no contact defect, check the operation connection between the line and the machinery to avoid judging the fault.

Clean before repair

For highly contaminated electrical equipment, the first thing to do is to clean buttons, junctions and contacts, and to see if external control keys are not working. Many of the problems are caused by conductive dirt and dust. After cleaning, the problem is usually eliminated.

When overhauling, it is necessary to check the static operation point of the DC circuit first, and then check the dynamic operation point of the communication loop.
