4. In terms of characteristics, the voltage type is overcurrent when the load is short-circuited, and the open-loop motor may also run stably; The current type can suppress the overcurrent when the load is short-circuited, and the motor operation is unstable and needs to be reacted and controlled.

The current inverter uses a naturally commutated thyristor as the power switch, and its DC side inductance is more valuable, and is used in doubly-fed speed regulation, which requires a commutation circuit when oversynchronous speed, and the function is relatively poor under the condition of low slip frequency.
