1. Select varieties according to the above series according to the purpose and requirements of use

Note that the main circuit load type is strictly differentiated, whether it is DC or communication.

Communication contactors are different from DC contactors, and are only suitable for DC-1 to DC-5 loads when used for DC loads, and DC contactors are recommended for DC loads above DC-5. Other capacitive contactors cannot be replaced by general communication contactors.

2. Confirm the load type and main circuit parameters

The main circuit parameters are mainly additional operating voltage, additional current, number of poles, on-off capacity, insulation voltage and overload capacity. Pay particular attention to the type of load. The contactor can be operated under different load types, but the corresponding types are different, and it cannot completely rely on the main voltage and power selection.

Distribution loads (resistive loads) are selected according to AC-1; The general motor load is selected according to AC-3; The winding motor is selected according to AC-2; Regarding the frequent start-stop load, it should be selected according to the AC-4 load, because the contact fusion welding phenomenon will occur when the load is frequently turned on and off, such as the industry with frequent forward rotation, driving, and frequent jogging.

In addition, for the 4-pole contactor, there are two series of main pole 2NO+2NC, or 4NO, which cannot be replaced by the general 3-pole contactor and auxiliary contact.

3. Control circuit and auxiliary contacts

The coil voltage of the contactor is confirmed according to the voltage of the control loop. At present, the domestic D2 series contactors only have communication coils. If you need DC coils, you need to choose imported TeSys D, TeSys F products.

In addition, there are also low-power imported TeSys D and TeSys K products for DC coil contactors, please pay attention to the selection.

Regarding the auxiliary contacts, the position and number of auxiliary contacts allowed by different contactors are different, and the requirements are checked in the table.

4. Electrical life and mechanical life

In the design process, if there is a strict requirement for the electrical life of more than one million times, please check the table according to the life curve on the sample.
