The inverter is divided into two categories: strong terminal and weak terminal;

(1) Strong current terminal refers to high-voltage and high-power terminals, generally including RST power supply terminals, UVW motor terminals, P+ and N-DC bus terminals, PB braking resistor terminals, E heat dissipation aluminum sheet grounding terminals, etc. The energy of the inverter is transferred through these terminals, processed and then transferred to the motor.

(2) Weak current terminals include +24V, com, +10V, GND weak power terminals, FWD forward rotation, REV reversal, X1-X7 multi-function terminals, RA, RB, RC internal relay output terminals, AO analog output terminals, VI, AI analog output terminals, RS485 communication terminals, etc., which are also called control terminals.

How the inverter rotates, how much speed it rotates, what is its current state, and how it works together with peripheral equipment are all completed by the level bumps of these terminals. Generally, FWD, REV, X1-X7 pass through the opening and closing of the contact signal of the external contactor, and send the command to the inverter. Generally, normally open contacts are used to control more, and some inverters can also demarcate the forward and negative logic of the logic signal by themselves.
