As the epidemic normalizes and the demand for logistics is expected to continue to grow in the future, the drivers who support the delivery of goods are faced with harsh working conditions and asymmetrical treatment*1, and the number of drivers engaged in freight transportation in many places is decreasing, and the existing transportation system may be difficult to maintain. In the early stage, in the process of discussing the implementation of SLOC, the team conducted a detailed inquiry and investigation of the drivers engaged in logistics transportation, from which they learned about the grim situation faced by the logistics profession.
Therefore, DENSO expects to play a role in improving the working environment of drivers and creating a new form of logistics that young people will be interested in. After repeated empirical experiments, SLOC is finally up and running, and now it is now being operated by a small number of companies, and DENSO expects more companies to join as collaborating partners in the future, which is expected to complete the scale, add transit addresses, and improve the matching accuracy.
