What is D-tote?
Based on the concept of "All of the parts on your hands", the data collected from the rental and installation of on-board equipment and the connection with on-board sensors are sent to the cloud through a common channel. D-tote runs through the data collection process of PoC based on this principle, including data transmission, data stacking, and data supply for the project.
The D-tote application can be set up in a short time with simple operation, so even users who are not familiar with software or cloud accounting can easily use it. DENSO's goal is to create an environment in which time and cost are reduced by promoting the collection and use of data, and then we can concentrate on developing higher value-added products and services.
Features of D-tote:
By collecting data from PoC to a common channel and sharing it, the man-hours of setting up new projects can be greatly reduced. The data analysis required for product and service development is simplified, the development cycle is shortened, and the setup can be completed in one day.
The continuous collection of data from multiple vehicles can then help to increase the power of the actual vehicle evaluation.
Because there is bi-directional communication between the app on the in-vehicle device and the cloud, apps can be distributed, changed, and updated to multiple devices remotely at once.
In this process, the entire security and operational process takes place on the D-tote side, so the user side does not need to worry about it.
