The process of adjusting the touch screen light spot and screen response when using the OTC robot teach pendant is called calibration, and it is usually performed at the factory. However, if it is not well aligned over a long period of time, it is necessary to make adjustments as described below. For this setting, the operator category must be switched to *** or above.

During calibration, no other operations can be performed. For safety reasons, please close the [work preparation] before calibration operation. Also, [Preparation for Work] cannot be turned on during calibration.

Go to < Constant Setting> - [7 T/P Keys] – [10 Touch Screen]. >> When the touch screen operation is "ON", the f9 becomes available.

Close [ Work Preparation ] and press F9. >> Set [Preparation] to "ON".

Press the center of the cross as shown on the touchscreen. >> When the crosses are moved to 5 directions, press the center of each crosses until the crosses move. If there is no problem with the calibration value in all 5 directions, the screen will move to 4. If there is a problem, the crosshair will return to the center of the screen. In this case, press the crosshair again.

Register the results of the calibration. >> Tap the screen to register the new calibration settings.

Press the [Reset/R] button to cancel. >> Complete the registration or cancel, and then the teach pendant returns to the screen described in Process 1.
