For the monitoring of safe protected areas under harsh conditions, such as dust, dirt, rain, light, sparks or shocks, the safety radar sensor PSENradar in combination with the configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2 offers the best solution: In addition to outdoor applications as well as in the woodworking and metalworking sectors, robot applications can now also be protected, as the solution achieves a higher category Cat. 3 / PL d.

The new radar sensor PSEN rd1.2 and the new analysis unit PSEN rd1.x I/O PN can be used for this purpose. What's more, the self-learning background feature ensures that changes can be made during operation within the warning or protection area without the need for new configurations. As a result, you can benefit from higher availability.

In combination with the configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2, the safety radar system provides a safe, complete solution for monitoring the protected area, including conformity assessment. Additional interfaces such as Ethernet and Profisafe also mean that it is easy to use in retrofit applications.
