Under the dual pressure of global labor shortage and manufacturing transformation and upgrading, industrial enterprises have adopted automated production and used advanced equipment and cutting-edge technology to improve production efficiency and flexible production capacity. In recent years, the robot industry has developed rapidly, and under the influence of the development of artificial intelligence, a new generation of information technology, advanced material technology, etc., the scope of robot application development has been deepened, and it has become an important driving force to promote the digital transformation of the economy and society.
From July 12 to 14, 2023, ABB Robotics China Value Provider Conference was successfully held in Shanghai. With the theme of "Cohesion and Breakthrough, Seek Far-Reaching and Win-win", this event is not only a gathering after three years, but also a grand event to draw the future.
Mr. Ma Sikang, President of ABB Robotics, Ms. Luo Jing, Interim Head of ABB Robotics China and Chief Financial Officer of ABB Robotics China, Marina Bill, Global Head of Marketing and Sales of ABB Robotics and President of the International Federation of Robotics (IFR), Mr. Wang Tong, Head of Marketing and Sales of ABB Robotics China and Head of Consumer Goods and Service Robotics China, Mr. Xu Feng, Acting Head of R&D Platform and Head of Global R&D Capability Management of ABB Robotics China, Professor Zhang Anyuan, director of the China Chief Economist Forum, delivered keynote speeches respectively, and sought innovative development and higher breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and robotics technology with representatives of many channel partners on the spot.
Through keynote speeches, new product launches, technical lectures and factory visits, the event comprehensively demonstrated the latest development strategy of ABB Robotics, the development achievements of cutting-edge technological innovation in China, and the innovative technologies and solutions needed to accelerate digital and intelligent transformation.
At present, the global robot industry is in a critical period of undetermined pattern, a window period for scale expansion and an opportunity period for seizing dominance. The current competition seems to be platform and supply chain competition, but in fact, the competition of the future robot industry will revolve around "system competitiveness". Innovation is one of the main driving forces and important strategies of ABB Robotics, and we are always looking for new ways to cooperate with partners, promote digital and intelligent transformation with innovative business models, systematically build a good cooperation atmosphere, and strengthen the competitiveness of the system.
The robot gigafactory, which was officially put into operation in 2022, is the most advanced, flexible and automated robot factory in the world, and is also an important milestone for ABB's development in China. During the conference, customers and partners from all walks of life were invited to visit the factory and experience ABB's advanced technology and strong strength as a leader in the field of robotic automation
Connecting the physical and digital worlds, the ABB Robotics Gigafactory creates a digital manufacturing ecosystem that uses virtual planning and production management systems to collect and analyze data to improve performance and productivity. The new factory abandons traditional, fixed assembly lines and replaces them with flexible, modular production cells that are digitally connected, serviced by intelligent, autonomous mobile robots. In the future, ABB Robotics will serve the Chinese robot market with greater production capacity, more advanced and more flexible manufacturing processes, and further radiate the Asia-Pacific region.
On the occasion of the event, ABB Robotics presented four awards: Best Innovation Award, Sincere Cooperation Award, Outstanding Performance Award, and Special Contribution Award, to thank the value providers who have sincerely cooperated with ABB Robotics for their efforts and to celebrate the fruitful harvest.
In the future, we look forward to continuing to walk with various value providers and always maintain innovation and development. ABB Robotics will continue to be committed to innovation, deepen its application, and work with channel partners to better serve the automation and intelligent needs of various fields.
