1. Thermostat contact contact failure

Poor contact of the thermostat contacts will cause the compressor to not operate properly. If the contacts are sticky, the compressor will fail without downtime. For this, you can use a small screwdriver to open the metal shell of the thermostat, and then use a fine abrasive cloth to polish the surface of the contacts. The on/off of the thermostat is easy to measure with a multimeter barrier, and the thermostat contacts are normally closed at room temperature, and when the temperature drops to a certain value, the contacts become normally open.

2. Thermostat leakage failure

When the thermostat inside the thermostat leaks, the contacts will be disconnected and the compressor will stop. To determine whether there is a leak, you can use a towel to heat the temperature bag, adjust the temperature control knob to the lowest gear, and use a multimeter to measure that the contact is closed. If the contacts are blocked, the thermostat has leaked.

3. Large temperature control error

If the parameters of the thermostat are not suitable or the debugging is not accurate, it will cause a large temperature error of the thermostat, so that the air conditioner will not stop or frequently open and stop faults, at this time, the temperature difference adjustment screw of the thermostat can be readjusted, and the new thermostat can also be replaced.
