First, the use of electronic temperature controller

The electronic temperature controller (resistive type) is measured by the method of resistance temperature sensing, and generally uses platinum wire, copper wire, tungsten wire and semiconductor (thermistor, etc.) as the temperature measurement resistor, and these resistors have their own advantages and points. Most of the sensors in household air conditioners are thermistors. The thermistor thermostat is made according to the Wheatstone bridge principle, which is the Wheatstone bridge. According to Kirchhoff's law, when the resistance of the bridge R1×R4=R2×R3, the potential of A and C is equal, there is no current flowing between the output A and C, and the impedance R1 of the thermal sea sensitive resistor changes with the rise or fall of the surrounding temperature, so that the balance is destroyed, and there is an output current between AC. Therefore, when composing a thermostat, the temperature regulation range and operating temperature can be easily changed by selecting the appropriate thermal sea resistor.

Second, the classification of thermostats

According to the principle of thermostat manufacturing, thermostats are divided into:

1. Sudden jump thermostat: all kinds of sudden jump thermostat models are collectively referred to as KSD, common such as KSD301, KSD302, etc., the thermostat is a new type of bimetal thermostat, mainly as a variety of electric heating products with overheat protection, usually used in series with thermal fuse, sudden jump thermostat as a primary protection. When the thermal fuse is overheated due to the loss or failure of the sudden thermostat, it can be used as a secondary protection to effectively prevent the burning of the electric heating element and the resulting fire accident.

2. Liquid tension thermostat: It is a physical phenomenon (volume change) that causes the substance (generally liquid) in the temperature sensing part of the thermostat to produce corresponding heat tension and cold contraction when the temperature of the controlled object changes, and the diaphragm box connected with the temperature sensing part expands or shrinks. With the principle of lever, the switch is driven to switch on and off to achieve the purpose of constant temperature, and the liquid tension thermostat has the performance characteristics of accurate temperature control, stable and reliable, small temperature difference between start and stop, large range of temperature control and adjustment, and large overload current. Liquid expansion thermostats are mainly used in temperature control occasions such as home appliance industry, electric heating equipment, and refrigeration industry.

3. Pressure thermostat, the thermostat changes the temperature change into a change of space pressure or volume through the temperature package and capillary tube of the closed internal temperature-sensing working fluid, and when the temperature set value is reached, the contact is automatically closed through the elastic element and the fast instantaneous mechanism to achieve the purpose of automatic temperature control. It consists of three parts: the temperature sensing part, the temperature setting body, the micro switch that performs the opening and closing, and the berth damper. Pressurized thermostats are suitable for refrigeration appliances (e.g. refrigerators, freezers, etc.) and heaters.
