Yamaha Robotics has the ability to flexibly respond to the equipment it produces, and it boasts great reliability.

When the Yamaha robot reduction gear is damaged, it will oscillate or emit abnormal movements.

In this case, it can cause overloads and abnormal deviations that disrupt normal operation. Sometimes it can also cause overheating. The robot may not move at all or may exhibit a bearing offset error. These causes can be caused by damage to the reduction gear spindle (S, H, V) or wrist shaft (R2, B, R1). How do I know if the spindle or wrist shaft is damaged?

A detailed diagnosis of the diagnosis is required in several steps:

(1) When the robot is working, check whether the reduction gear is sensational, abnormal or overheated.

(2) Check whether the reduction gear is loose and worn. Turn the brake release switch of the S axis to the direction of [on], swing the *** mechanical arm in the direction of the front and back, and then check whether there is any abnormality with your hands.

(3) Check whether the peripheral device has been connected to the robot before the abnormal phenomenon occurs. (Damage to the reduction gear may be caused by the connection.) )

(4) Shake the end actuator (such as welding torch and hand device, etc.) back and forth to see if the reduction gear is loose.

(5) Turn off the motor, open the brake release switch at the same time, and check whether the shaft can be turned by hand. If not, it means that the reduction gear is not in good condition.

(6) Check whether the peripheral device has been connected to the robot before the abnormal phenomenon occurs. (Damage to the reduction gear may be caused by the connection.) )

Following this procedure, it is possible to determine whether the main shaft or the wrist shaft is damaged, and when the direction of the damage is determined, the needle will be used to solve the problem. If the spindle needs to replace the reduction gear, a crane is required to lift and suspend the robot arm. In addition to replacing the reduction gear, the wrist shaft can also replace the entire mechanical wrist part, which is a quick and reliable solution in replacing the mechanical wrist part of the whole machine, because the replacement of the reduction gear requires some necessary equipment at all times.
