1. Test for NPN output sensor
The NPN sensor output, also known as OC gate output, is based on the principle of open collector output of a transistor.
The principle of NPN type OC gate output is whether the output of the NPN transistor and GND are short-circuited. When the control is active, the transistor is on, and the output and GND (power supply negative) are short-circuited, and when the control is invalid, the output is open to GND, which is equivalent to a suspended condition. When the output terminal is directly tested with a multimeter, when the triode conduction measurement voltage value is about 0V, when the tertiary tube is not conducted, the measured voltage is equivalent to the open circuit voltage, this voltage will have some fluctuations, and can not fully prove whether the sensor output is normal or not. The correct and abbreviated test method is to pull a 10K resistor on the output to the power supply and measure the output voltage at this moment.
After the 10K resistor is pulled up to the power supply voltage, the output voltage value of the NPN triode is 0V-0.7V when the NPN trio is turned on, and the measured output voltage is generally VCC-1V-VCC when the tertiary transistor is turned off.
Note: The NPN output cable should not be directly touched with the VCC (positive power supply) at any time, otherwise the output switch will be short-circuited and burned.
Second, for the PNP type output sensor test
The output of PNP sensor can be directly measured with a multimeter, when the sensor is not output, the voltage should be 0V, and the output voltage is VCC-1V-VCC.
Note: The PNP output cable should not be directly touched with the GND (negative power supply) at any time, otherwise the output switch will be short-circuited and burned.

We understand the object detection range of ultrasonic sensors
Autonomous mobile robot AMRs typically use LiDAR photoelectric sensors to detect objects. These photosensors emit light and rely on reflection to measure the distance to a specific surface. It's a great way to detect a solid object, but it can present challenges when it's surrounded by a transparent material such as glass. ...

Common dry contact signals for safety barriers
The dry contact of the barrier is an electrical switch that has two positions: closed and disconnected. There is no polarity between the two contacts of the dry contact and is interchangeable. That is, a simple switch, the contact does not provide power supply, and the power supply can be used to control the condition of the equipment. But it doesn't offer ...

How to install the safety barrier
1. The safety barrier should be installed in a safe place, and the environmental conditions meet the requirements of "application conditions" in the "Safety Barrier Selection Sample".
2. The connecting wires of the intrinsically safe end (blue end) and non-intrinsically safe end circuits of the barrier safety barrier should be laid separately in the wiring slot.

Sensor calibration method – Blessing Blessing
Sensor calibration refers to the process of transmitting the standard value expressed by the norm to the indexing of the sensor's operating range, and the indexing is determined.
The calibration of the sensor is based on the standard value generated by a standard device (e.g. a known standard force, pressure, torque, displacement, etc.).

Classification of rotary encoders
There are two main types of encoders, incremental encoders and affirmative encoders. The incremental encoder reads the change in the viewpoint displacement, while the affirmative encoder reads the positive viewpoint of the encoding axis. They are done using three common skills, i.e., optical, mechanical, or magnetic.

Important features of our sensors
On the linear scale of our sensors, the higher the sensitivity, the better. Because only when the sensitivity is high, the value of the output signal corresponding to the measured change is relatively large, which is conducive to signal processing. However, it should be noted that the sensitivity of the sensor is high, and the external noise that is not related to the measurement is also simple.

Static and dynamic characteristics of sensors – we are blessed
1. Static characteristics of the sensor
The static characteristics of a sensor are related to the static input signal, the output and input of the sensor. Since the input and output are moment-independent at this point, the connection between them (i.e., the static properties of the sensor) can be used in an algebraic equation without time variables.
