The dry contact of the barrier is an electrical switch that has two positions: closed and disconnected. There is no polarity between the two contacts of the dry contact and is interchangeable. That is, a simple switch, the contact does not provide power supply, and the power supply can be used to control the condition of the equipment. But not providing power does not mean that there is no electricity, it is part of the circuit. Dry contact interfaces can be divided into normally open dry contacts and normally closed dry contacts.
Common dry contact signals are: a variety of switches such as: limit switches, travel switches, foot switches, rotary switches, temperature switches, liquid level switches, etc.; power supply and a variety of buttons; Output of a variety of sensors, fire, alarm sensors, vibration, smoke and condensation sensors; Relay output, relay output, reed switch output, etc. The wet contact is an active switch, which has 2 conditions: electric and non-electric; There is polarity between the 2 contacts. If the dry contact signal is connected to the power supply, and then the other pole of the power supply is used as the output, it is the wet contact signal.
The safety barrier uses current and voltage limiting circuits to constrain the energy transferred from the safe place to the risk site. Intrinsically safe equipment in a risk location can operate at such energy, but this energy is not sufficient to ignite an explosive atmosphere, and even if the intrinsically safe equipment itself fails, no electrical sparks or hot surfaces can ignite.

The type of proximity switch
The proximity sensor, also known as the contactless proximity switch, is an ideal electronic switch sensor. When the metal detector approaches the sensing area of the switch, the switch can be contactless, pressureless, patternless, quickly issue electronic commands, accurately respond to the position and stroke of the action mechanism, and even ...

Load cells with low power consumption and low cost – we are all in good hands
Types of load cells:
Electrical strain gauge load cells:
One widely used principle is the color of a resistive strain gauge (resistance strain gauge), where the resistance is changed to an electrical output, which is then passed through an instrument to measure the mass.
Capacitive load cells: low power consumption and low cost. The principle of ...

P+F proximity switch selection points
1. Select the proximity switch type according to the detected object. If the detection object is metal, the inductive proximity switch is preferred, and if the detection object is a non-metal such as wood, plastic, paper, water, etc., or a smaller and finer metal, a capacitive proximity switch should be selected.

The structure of proximity sensor switches – we are blessed
1. Durability
The reason why the switch has such a long life is that the switch acts as elastic from the vertical direction of the elastic membrane. Although millions of peristalsis are carried out after the elastic membrane, because the creep rate is very small, only 0.1 - 0.3m ...

How to distinguish between good and bad angle sensors
The use of angle sensors in practical manipulation is relatively common, and may be useful for the needs of different occupations and different fields. No matter how good the instrument is, there is a quality of the instrument itself, and in order to reduce the presentation of errors in the measurement process, users need to choose a good quality ...

Failure analysis of gas sensors in different situations – we are blessed
A gas sensor is a converter that converts the volume fraction of a gas into an electrical signal. When we use gas sensors, we will inevitably encounter some problems, in this regard, we have made the following analysis:
1. Gas sensing ...

Analysis of mechanical damage of encoder servo
Mechanical damage is common in servo response encoder problems, including hardware damage to the internal component structure of the encoder due to mechanical oscillation, collision, impact, wear and tear. Excessive mechanical oscillations may cause damage to the encoder disc, shaft and bearing.

Illustrate the dynamic characteristics and linearity of our sensors
The dynamic characteristics of a sensor refer to the characteristics of the output of the sensor when the input changes. In practice, the dynamic characteristics of the sensor are often indicated by its echo to some normative input signals, because the echo of the sensor to the normative input signal is easy to obtain by experimental methods, ...

Photoelectric switches for sensors
Photoelectric switches are what we generally call sensors. The definition of the sensor under the national standard GB7665-87 is: the equipment or device that can feel the specified measured parts and convert them into usable signals in accordance with certain rules, generally composed of sensitive elements and conversion elements.

How to judge the quality of the angle sensor
The use of vision sensors in practical operation is relatively common, and may be useful for the needs of various situations in different industries and fields. No matter how good the instrument is, there is a quality of the instrument itself, and in order to reduce the deviation in the measurement process, the user needs to choose a good quality ...

1. The interval from the launch surface of the probe to the liquid level should be smaller than the range of the purchased surface.
2. The interval between the launch surface of the probe and the highest liquid level should be greater than the blind area of the purchased surface.
3. The launch surface of the probe should be parallel to the surface of the liquid.

How to choose a pressure sensor – we are blessed
1. Recognize the type of pressure measurement, that is, to measure the gauge pressure, absolute pressure or differential pressure. Gauge pressure refers to the pressure value with atmospheric pressure as the zero point, which can have positive and negative values, positive above atmospheric pressure, and negative below atmospheric pressure. The absolute difference refers to the pressure value with the vacuum as the zero point, and the absolute pressure is as long as the value is positive ...
