The static characteristics of a sensor are related to the static input signal, the output and input of the sensor. Since the input and output are moment-agnostic, the connection between them (i.e., the static nature of the sensor) can be used as an algebraic equation without a time variable, or the input can be used as an abscissa and output accordingly. The so-called dynamic characteristics refer to the characteristics of the sensor's output when the input changes. In practice, the dynamic nature of a sensor is generally expressed as an echo of some specification input signal. This is due to the fact that the sensor's response to the canonical input signal can be easily and testedly confirmed, and the sensor's connection to the canonical input signal is somehow related to its response to any input signal, and it is generally known that the former can assume the latter. The most common canonical input signals are step and sinusoidal signals, so the dynamic characteristics of the sensor are also generally represented by step echo and frequency echo.
