There are three installation methods for robots applied to machine tool automation: "ground-mounted robot transfer" (island processing unit), "ground-mounted walking axis robot transfer" (machine tool placement in a straight line), and "crane walking shaft robot transfer" (machine tool placement in a straight line). All of them can complete the reduction of production costs after long-term continuous unmanned work, and complete the stability of quality through robotization.

1. Ground-mounted robot transfer system

Most machine tool loading and unloading systems are used in the "ground-mounted robot transfer", also known as the "island processing unit", which takes the six-axis robot as the central island, and the machine tool is placed in a ring around it to carry out the workpiece transfer of the equipment parts. It integrates the advantages of efficient production, stable operation and space saving, and is suitable for operation in narrow spaces, with high-rigidity arms and the most advanced servo technology to ensure smooth movement without oscillation during high-speed operation. Rapid identification and high-speed pick-and-place of workpieces can be completed by visual vision.

Second, the robot's walking axis transfer system

The robot is equipped with a 7-axis ground-mounted guide rail, which uses the walking guide rail to carry out the transfer of the workpiece, the running speed is fast, the useful load is large, and the action scale of the robot is effectively expanded, so that the system has efficient scalability.

It has a variety of advantages: first, it can adjust (customize) the useful stroke according to the needs of actual use; Second, the movement is directly controlled by the robot, and there is no need to increase the control system; Third, it has good protective performance and can be applied to spot welding, gluing, transfer and other occupations; Fourth, it is controlled by FANUC servo motor, and transmitted by fine reducer, gear and rack, with high repeatability. Fifth, the structure is simple and easy to maintain.

3. Crane walking axis robot transfer system

The transfer system of the crane walking axis robot, also known as the "top mount system", has the same mechanical and control system as ordinary robots, and has the same possibility of completing messy actions as ground mounted robots. Different from the floor-mounted type, its walking axis is above the machine tool, which has the advantage of saving floor space, and can easily get used to the solution of the machine tool placed on both sides of the guide rail, and shorten the length of the guide rail. Compared with special aircraft, it does not require a very high workshop space, which is convenient for the installation and operation of the vehicle. It can complete the function of grabbing 2 workpieces with one hand, saving production time.
