Capacitive ifm sensors have many applications in everyday life. It is capable of inspecting non-metallic materials as well as non-touch methods to detect objects. The editor below explains how the sensor works.
Capacitive ifm sensors are resistant to interference. When an object is detected, capacitance changes as small as 0.02pF are to be accurately converted into usable switching signals. Because the basic capacitance required for circuits and structures, such as the input capacitance of components and conductor circuits, has increased many times, the requirements for the circuit are relatively high when used, which greatly increases the difficulty of detecting the capacitance accurately.
Inductive ifm sensors detect metals without touch and are used in a wide range of industrial applications. Compared to mechanical switches, inductive sensors have the prerequisites, high switching accuracy and switching frequency, as well as wear-free and touch-free working methods. They are resistant to moisture and dust, and are resistant to shocks.
Compared to inductive sensors, which can only detect metal objects, capacitive ifm sensors can detect non-metallic data, and can also detect an object arbitrarily without touch. Typical areas of application are the paper, plastics, food, chemical, glass and wood industries.

High-frequency pressure sensor output signal – ifm
The conversion of the pressure to the electrical signal is done by the physical deformation of the strain gauge, and the strain gauge is bonded to the diaphragm of the pressure sensor and wired into a Wheatstone bridge structure. The pressure exerted on a high-frequency pressure sensor causes the diaphragm to flex, which causes the strain gauge to strain. Strain will occur ...

Selection and testing of ifm proximity switches
1. Proximity switch selection
Different types of proximity switches should be selected for different raw material detectors and different detection intervals to have a high-performance price ratio in the system, for which the following principles should be followed in the selection:
1. When the detector body is metal material, the high-frequency oscillation type should be selected.

Difference Between Pressure Sensors and Pressure Transmitters – ifm
The pressure sensor usually refers to the component-level product of non-standard mV signal output, which is the core component of the pressure transmitter. Due to the weak signal, the demand increases at longer intervals.

An introduction to the work of ifm controllers
Programmable ifm controllers operate using a "sequential scan, continuous loop" approach.
1. Output rewriting stage: When the instruction is fulfilled, the on-off status of the output status register is sent to the input in the output rewriting stage.

The new radar level sensor LW2720 with IO-Link interface
In the food and beverage industry, level measurement of a wide range of tanks is critical, but there are many challenges.
For example, steam, condensate, temperature changes, or various gases (maintenance gases such as nitrogen) above the level surface in some tanks can affect the accuracy of the measurement.

A detailed explanation of the working principle of ifm magnetic switches
The magnetic switch is different from our common switching devices, it is also called a magnetic switch, which is a line switching device that uses magnetic field signals to control. Perhaps many people will be interested in this new type of switch, so let's make a detailed explanation of the operating principle of the magnetic switch.

Precautions for the selection of level transmitters – ifm
The differential pressure transmitter is a transmitter that measures the pressure difference between the two ends of the transmitter, and outputs a standard signal (such as 4-20mA, 1-5V). The difference between the differential pressure transmitter and the general pressure transmitter is that they have 2 pressure interfaces, and the differential pressure transmitter is generally divided into positive pressure end and negative pressure end.

The difference between an ifm level sensor and a level switch
Many people are stupid and can't tell the difference between the liquid level sensor and the liquid level switch, and even think that they are the same instrument. In fact, there is a big difference between them. The level sensor does not necessarily display the liquid level, but outputs the liquid level in the form of an electrical signal. The liquid level controller is based on the liquid level sensor ...
