What is a magnetic switch

Magnetic switch is a switching device that is sensed by a magnet, and the commonly used magnets are sintered NdFeB, rubber magnet and permanent ferrite. The switch is a dry reed tube, referred to as a reed switch, which is a passive electronic switching element with contacts, and the shell is usually a sealed glass tube, which is filled with inert gas, and is also equipped with two iron elastic reed plates.

The operating principle of the magnetic switch

1. The reed switch in the magnetic switch, also known as the magnetron, is a kind of switching element that uses a magnetic field signal to control, and when there is no magnetic, the circuit is disconnected, which can be used to detect the state of mechanical movement or circuit. When the magnetic switch is not in operation, the two reeds in the glass tube do not touch. If a magnetic material is close to the glass tube, the two reeds will be magnetized and drawn together under the effect of the magnetic field, so that the circuit will be connected. When the magnetic material disappears, there is no external magnetic force, and the two reeds are separated and disconnected due to their own elasticity.

2. There is a kind of magnetic switch is a reed switch with multiple points or one point in a closed plastic tube or metal, the whole container is hollow, and the float is equipped with a ring magnet inside, and the reed switch and the float are controlled by the fixed ring in the relevant direction, and the float can float within a certain range. The opening and closing of the switch is caused by the magnet inside the float to attract the contacts of the reed switch.

3. There is also a kind of magnetic switch that is often called a near switch, also known as a door magnetic switch or an induction switch. It has a standard size plastic shell, the reed tube is potted in the black shell, the wire is led out, the other half of the plastic shell with a magnet is fixed at the other end, when the magnetic material is close to the switch with the wire and the interval is about 10mm, the switch will send out a switch signal.

4. The junction box is completely standard, with plastic, aluminum alloy and stainless steel explosion-proof types, and the protection level is above IP-65.

5. PP and PVDF raw materials can be applied to strong acid and alkali places; SUS 304/316 is suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure drums.

6. The connecting flange has JIS, DIN, ANSI standards; There are NPT, PF, BSP and other standards for the tooth opening.

Magnetic switch use
