2. Input sampling stage: The input sampling stage of the programmable ifm controller can be divided into the following steps:
(1) The input is rewritten by reading the on-off status or input data of the input terminal sequentially and storing (writing) it in the corresponding input status register.
(2) Then close the input port and enter the program fulfillment stage.
(3) During the program execution stage, the contents of the input status register will not change even if the input status changes. The changed input signal condition can only be read in one scan cycle of the sampling phase.
3. Program fulfillment stage: In the program fulfillment stage, the programmable ifm controller scans and executes each instruction in the order in which the user's program instructions are stored, and the required fulfillment conditions can be read from the current output status register, the internal relay (register) and the input status register, and the result is written into the output status register again after the corresponding calculation and processing. Therefore, the contents of the output status register will change as the program is executed.
