DENSO Robotics announces the launch of its new compact, high-speed, VS-050 six-axis aseptic robot with ISO 5 cleanroom rating and specially planned masking for use that requires biofouling manipulation.

Now, our customers in these areas have sterilization needs and can benefit from the high speed and other outstanding features of the VS series. ”

The protective outer coating and sealed joints allow the VS-050 to be safely sterilized with hydrogen peroxide or UV light. The robot's lubricated, oil-slip exterior has no external screws to prevent dust, dust, or other contaminants from adhering to its surface. The wires are always embedded in the flange, and the operating cable connector sits at the bottom of the robot, further simplifying the arm and making it easy to clean.

DENSO's VS series of robots offers the world's highest speed and accuracy in its class. The VS-050 sterile type has a cycle time of 0.37 seconds. The repeatability is ±0.02 mm, the maximum masking scale is 520 mm, and the payload capacity is 4 kg.

Typical use of the VS-050 includes assembly, dispensing, inspection, machine maintenance, material transfer, packaging, and test transfer.

DENSO is the world's largest user of small assembly robots, with more than 17,000 DENSO robots planned and used in its own production plant. More than 77,000 DENSO robots are also used by other companies around the world.

The DENSO robot has a payload of up to 20 kg, scales from 350 to 1300 mm, and repeatability within ±0.015 mm. DENSO's compact, space-saving planning facilitates integration, while the largest moment of inertia promises a variety of end actuators and use. Supply specification (IP40), dust and fog (IP65), dust and splash (IP67), clean room (ISO 3, 4 and 5) and sterile (H2O2- and UV resistant) types. ANSI and CE compliant for global deployment.
