The protective outer coating and sealed joints allow the VS-050 to be safely sterilized with hydrogen peroxide or UV light. The robot's lubricated, oil-slip exterior has no external screws to prevent dust, dust, or other contaminants from adhering to its surface. The wires are always embedded in the flange, and the operating cable connector sits at the bottom of the robot, further simplifying the arm and making it easy to clean.
DENSO's VS series of robots offers the world's highest speed and accuracy in its class. The VS-050 sterile type has a cycle time of 0.37 seconds. The repeatability is ±0.02 mm, the maximum masking scale is 520 mm, and the payload capacity is 4 kg.
Typical use of the VS-050 includes assembly, dispensing, inspection, machine maintenance, material transfer, packaging, and test transfer.
