Depending on the resolution supported by the encoder, encoders can be divided into marker encoders, HD encoders, and Full HD encoders. The higher the frame rate, the clearer the video.
1. What does the resolution of the encoder mean?
The resolution of an encoder is the resolution that the encoder feeds for each 360-degree rotation through a line or dark line (also known as an analytical split or straight line), typically between 50,000 and 10,000 lines per rotation.
Depending on the resolution supported by the encoder, encoders can be divided into marker encoders (720x480 and below, PAL frame rate 50, NTSC frame rate 60), high-definition encoders (1280x720 and below, PAL frame rate 50192080, PAL frame rate 25), and Full HD encoders (1920x1080 PAL frame rate 50, NTSC frame rate 60). Topological visual encoder up to Full HD.
An encoder is a device that compiles a signal, such as a bitstream or data, and converts it into a signal that can be communicated, transmitted, and stored. The encoder converts angular or linear displacement into an electrical signal, the first one called a code disc and the second one called a yardstick. According to the reading method, the encoder can be divided into touch type and non-touch type; Depending on the operating principle, encoders can be divided into incremental and definite types. The incremental encoder converts the displacement into a periodic electrical signal, which then converts the electrical signal into counting pulses, using the number of pulses to represent the fluctuation of the displacement. Each bearing of the affirmative encoder corresponds to a confirmed numerical code, so it only indicates the start and end of the measurement, not the central process of the measurement.
2. How to calculate the resolution of the encoder?
Incremental optical encoders are generally used for encoder resolution. Its resolution is also known as the number of lines, such as 2500 lines and 4x frequency, so it has a resolution of 2500.4 = 10000 pulses.
The higher the resolution of the encoder, the smaller the minimum scale of the motor, the smaller the angular displacement of the motor rotation, and the higher the control accuracy.
3. The link between encoder resolution and pulse count
At the center of the encoder is an axial optical encoder with a dark ring, photoelectric transmitter, and receiver readings. Four sets of sinusoidal signals are combined at A, B, C, and D. Each sine has a difference of 90 degrees (360 degrees relative to each cycle), and the signal D is inversely superimposed on the two phases A and B, making it possible to improve the stability of the signal; In addition, the phase pulse Z per revolution is output to represent the zero reference bit.
Whether it's a single line or a single bit, it's important to know how many pulses an encoder produces in a single rotation. The concept of wire is often found in incremental encoders. It divides the encoder's disc into 2500 lines (2500 lines) and rotates the disc to produce 2500 pulses.

Advantages of digital load cells – Autonex
1. The transmission interval of the digital load cell is long, the communication speed is fast, and the anti-cheating effect is remarkable; The output signal of the traditional analog load cell is small, generally millivolt level, and the signal is still lost due to the damage of the cable resistance during the transmission process, and it is also very simple to be affected by the surrounding environment.
