According to the different operating principles, it can be divided into inductive type, capacitive type, photoelectric type and magnetic inductance type. According to the type of circuit current, it can be divided into AC type and DC type. The inductive head of an inductive proximity switch is an inductive coil with a ferrite core, which can only detect metal bodies. The vibrator generates an alternating magnetic field on the surface of the sensing head, and when a metal object approaches the sensing head, it approaches the internal action of the switch and then reaches the "on" and "off" control.

Magnetic proximity switch mainly refers to Hall proximity switch, its operating principle is Hall effect, when the magnetic object is close to the Hall switch, the state of the Hall proximity switch changes, such as from "on" to "off".

Capacitive proximity switches

The inductive head of the capacitive proximity switch is a circular flat electrode, which forms a distributed capacitance with the ground wire of the vibrating circuit, and when a conductor or other medium is close to the inductive head, the capacitance increases and the vibrator stops vibrating, and the electrical signal is output through the shaping amplifier. Capacitive proximity switches are capable of viewing metals, non-metals, and liquids.

A contactless travel switch, also known as a proximity switch, announces an "action" signal when an object is close to it at a certain interval, and it does not require mechanical force. The use of proximity switches has gone far beyond the travel and limit maintenance of general travel switches, and it can also be used for high-speed counting, speed measurement, liquid level control, detection of the presence of metal bodies, detection of part size, contactless buttons, and sensors used as computers or programmable manipulators.

The basic operation method of inductive proximity switch sensors

The inductive proximity switch sensor can be detected from the horizontal edge of the sensor body that is close to the measurement, and the sensor head can be detected directly from the pen of the measured body. The measurement interval of the operation interval of the body is close to the sensor operation interval of the sensor switch; The float effect of the temperature and voltage of the independent operation is separated from the actual operation of the straight interval. The operational delay time, response time, will be referred to as when the test subject enters or leaves the detection range. In sensor applications, consideration should be given to whether the results of detecting these parameters will affect the actual situation.

According to the operating principle, the proximity switch is divided into: high-frequency vibration type (detecting various metals), permanent magnet type and magnetic sensitive element type, electromagnetic induction type, capacitive type, photoelectric type and supergenerating wave type. The commonly used proximity switch is a high-frequency vibration type, which is composed of vibration, detection, thyristor and other parts.
