Pressure sensors can't avoid errors – Ottonix

Create Date: 2024-8-30 12:03:23|Source: Autonics/Autonics

When choosing a pressure sensor, we should consider his inductive accuracy, and what are the aspects that affect the accuracy of the pressure sensor? In fact, there are many factors that form sensor errors, and let's pay attention to four unavoidable errors, which are the initial errors of the sensor.

Pressure sensors can't avoid errors – Ottonix

First Offset Error: Since the vertical offset of the pressure sensor is stable throughout the pressure range, changes in converter dispersion and laser adjustment correction will cause offset errors.

The second is sensitivity error: the size of the error is proportional to the pressure. If the sensitivity of the device is higher than the typical value, the sensitivity error will be an increasing function of the pressure. If the sensitivity is lower than the typical value, then the sensitivity error will be a decreasing function of the pressure. The reason for this error is a change in the dispersion process.

The third is linearity: this is a factor that has little effect on the initial error of the pressure sensor, which occurs due to the physical nonlinearity of the silicon wafer, but for sensors with amplifiers, the nonlinearity of the amplifier should also be included. Linear error curves can be concave curves or convex curve load cells.

Hysteresis error: In most scenarios, the hysteresis error of the pressure sensor is completely negligible due to the high mechanical stiffness of the silicon wafer. In general, hysteresis errors only need to be considered in the case of large pressure changes.

The four errors of the pressure sensor are unavoidable, we can only select high-precision production equipment, use high-tech to reduce these errors, and can also carry out certain error calibration at the time of delivery, as far as possible to reduce the error to meet the needs of customers.

Precautions for the use of gas flow meters - Autonex Precautions for the use of gas flow meters - Autonex

1. When the working conditions of the exterior are changed (such as changing the medium, changing the ambient temperature, etc.), the zero position of the exterior should be adjusted from the beginning. At the same time, the outer surface of the catheter must be leveled and calibrated with a spirit level. Failure to do so will increase the effect of the change in operating conditions on the zero drift. Rack ...
