1. Select the appropriate level gauge

4. Measure the liquid level

Once the level gauge is installed, the level measurement can begin. The vessel's valve or pump needs to be opened to allow liquid to flow into the level gauge. As the liquid rises, the float also rises, triggering the level gauge's sensors and transmitting the level data to the controller or reading device.

When measuring the level, the following should be noted:

Make sure the level gauge and sensor are clean, and perform regular maintenance and cleaning.

Check the accuracy of the measurement data and correct any errors.

Avoid drastic fluctuations in the liquid in the container or rapid changes in the liquid level, which will affect the measurement accuracy of the level gauge.

5. Maintain the level gauge

Finally, in order to ensure the long service life and measurement accuracy of the level gauge, regular maintenance and servicing are required. Here are some common maintenance steps:

Clean the level gauge and sensor and remove any dirt or particles.

Check that the fixtures of the level gauge are loose or deformed, and if so, they need to be repaired or replaced.

Regularly check that the cables or lines are securely connected to avoid interference or errors.

Check that the float is moving properly and make sure that there is no damage or corrosion to its surface.
