The orifice flowmeter is a high-range ratio differential pressure flow device composed of a standard orifice plate and a multi-parameter differential pressure transmitter (or differential pressure transmitter, temperature transmitter and pressure transmitter), which can measure the flow rate of gas, steam, liquid and natural gas. It is widely used in process control and measurement in the fields of petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, heating and water supply. Orifice flowmeter is widely used in coal, chemical industry, transportation, construction, textile, food, medicine, agriculture, environmental protection and people's daily life and other fields of the national economy, is an important tool for the development of industrial and agricultural production, energy saving, product quality, economic efficiency and management level, and occupies an important position in the national economy. Forte:

3. It is widely used, including all single-phase fluids (liquid, gas, steam) and some miscible flows, and the pipe diameter and working state (temperature and pressure) of the general production process can be measured;

4. The test piece and differential pressure display instrument can be separated from the production of different manufacturers, and the production of professional scale.

Flaw:

1. The repeatability and degree of measurement are classified at the medium level in the flow sensor, and due to the intricate influence of many factors, it is difficult to make progress;

2. The scale is narrow, because the flow coefficient is related to the Reynolds number, the general scale is only 3:1-4:1;

3. There are long requirements for the length of straight pipe sections, which are generally difficult to meet. Especially for larger pipe diameters, the problem is more prominent;

4. Large pressure loss;

5. The orifice plate is made with an acute angle line of the inner hole to ensure the accuracy, so the sensor is sensitive to corrosion, wear, scaling and dirt, and it is difficult to ensure the accuracy of long-term use, so it needs to be removed for forced inspection once a year;

6. The use of flange connection is prone to running, running, dripping and leakage, which greatly increases the maintenance workload.
