The WhisperTube is a passive reactance silencer that is installed downstream of a control valve or other device that generates system noise. The pressure drop across the device has a negligible effect on the WhisperTube, so the system can be reduced in a wide range of operating conditions without impacting flow or process.

Passive reactance muffler – The inner cavity generates acoustic wave reflections that reduce downstream propagated noise.
Reliable performance – no internal acoustic packing failure due to water absorption. The internal drain channel of the casting removes possible liquid build-up and ensures optimal performance.
Pigging system compatible – straight-through geometry with matching inner diameter for pigging during cleaning and maintenance.
Acid Resistance – Standard construction material to NACE MR0103, MR0175/ISO 15156 for use in sour gas or vapor applications.
Maintenance is quick and easy – the detachable cylindrical stainless steel strainer cleans without the need for special tools.
Simple installation – the threaded lifting device allows the eyebolt or eye bolt to be installed on the body, optimizing product control during installation.
