The Fisher EZ-OVT trim is a dual-seated trim designed for long-term, tight shut-off in on/off applications where fluids contain particulates, such as catalyst powders. These valves are suitable for controlling and cleaning conversion gases such as hydrogen and nitrogen used in the UOP Continuous Catalyst Regeneration (CCR) refining process.

peculiarity
The EZ-OVT trim features a dual-seat design consisting of a primary soft seat and an auxiliary metal seat. This dual-seat design provides long-term ANSI and IEC VI standard level shut-off capability.
The trim has a built-in dead zone so that no aggressive fluid flows through the seat surface as soon as the trim leaves the seat.
As soon as the valve exits the seat, a special deflector directs the flow away from the seat surface.
Wide fluid paths and minimal moving parts reduce the build-up of substances such as catalyst powders in these areas, avoiding failures.
