The Fisher ATST desuperheater is a state-of-the-art solution for desuperheating applications where atomization performance and amplitude of variation are critical. ATST nozzles atomize water through steam atomization to form tiny water droplets that evaporate rapidly over a wide range of vapor flows and conditions.

Steam Atomization Water Injection - ATST desuperheaters employ steam atomizing nozzles that split water into tiny droplets through high-velocity vapors over a variety of operating ranges.
Temperature Control Confidence - Tiny mist evaporating from the ATST nozzle quickly and no spray water falls into the downstream pipeline. Make sure that the spray water controls the temperature of the steam and does not fall.
Improved Steam Piping and Liner Integrity - Features such as micro-spraying, homogeneous water/vapor mixing, and extremely rapid vaporization protect steam piping and liners from overspray quenching damage.
Variable Ranges - ATST vapor atomization desuperheaters do not produce spray by water pressure or vapor velocity. The fine mist produced by ATST can be injected with low-flow steam without sacrificing temperature control.
Available Steam Lining - ATST has the option of an integrated steam liner. This structure is common in boiler interstage desuperheating applications to protect against additional water shock
