4. The electromagnetic interference of the solid-state relay is small. Most AC output solid state relays are zero-voltage switches that turn on at zero voltage and open at zero current, reducing abrupt interruptions in the current waveform and thus reducing the transient effect of the switch. The electromagnetic interference of the corresponding contactor is large.

5. The solid state relay is small in size and the contactor is large. In some places where the space is relatively narrow, it may be inconvenient to install a contactor, so a solid state relay is required; However, the current of the solid state relay is generally not very large, and the current of the contactor can be very amperes.
