1. How to deal with the servo motor not running when there is pulse output?

a. Monitor the current value of the pulse output of the controller and whether the pulse output light is flashing, and confirm that the command pulse has been executed and the pulse has been output normally;

b. Check whether the control cable, power cable and encoder cable from the controller to the driver are incorrectly wired, damaged or poorly contacted;

c. Check whether the brake of the servo motor with brake has been opened; The panel of the servo drive is monitored to confirm whether the pulse command is entered;

d. The Run command is normal;

e. The control mode must be selected as the position control mode;

f. Whether the input pulse type set by the servo driver is consistent with the setting of the instruction pulse;

c. Make sure that the forward side drive is inhibited, the reverse side drive inhibition signal and the deviation counter reset signal are not entered, the load is disconnected and the no-load operation is normal, and the mechanical system is checked.

2. During operation, the motor deviation counter overflow error occurred.

Countermeasures: increase the set value of the overflow level of the deviation counter; Slow down the rotation; Extend acceleration and deceleration times; If the load is too heavy, it is necessary to re-select a motor with a larger capacity or reduce the load, and install a transmission mechanism such as a reducer to improve the load capacity.

3. The motor deviation counter overflow error occurs when rotating at high speed.

Countermeasures: Check whether the wiring of the motor power cable and encoder cable is correct and whether the cable is damaged.

4. When inputting a long instruction pulse, the motor deviation counter overflow error occurs.

Solution: If the gain setting is too large, re-adjust the gain manually or use the automatic gain adjustment function; Extend acceleration and deceleration times; If the load is too heavy, it is necessary to re-select a motor with a larger capacity or reduce the load, and install a transmission mechanism such as a reducer to increase the load capacity.

5. How to deal with abnormal sound or jitter when the servo motor is running?

Mechanical system:

The coupling connecting the motor shaft to the equipment system is offset and the mounting screws are not tightened; Poor occlusion of pulleys or gears will also lead to load torque changes, try no-load operation, if no-load operation is normal, check whether there is any abnormality in the joint part of the mechanical system; Confirm whether the load inertia, torque, and rotational speed are too large, try to run at no load, and if the no-load operation is normal, lighten the load or replace the drive and motor with a larger capacity.

Servo parameters:

The servo gain setting is too large, it is recommended to readjust the servo parameters manually or automatically; Confirm the setting of the time constant of the velocity feedback filter, the initial value is 0, you can try to increase the setting value; The electronic gear ratio setting is too large, it is recommended to restore to the factory settings; The resonance of the servo system and the mechanical system, try to adjust the frequency of the sine wave filter as well as the amplitude.

Servo wiring:

Use standard power cables, encoder cables, control cables, and whether the cables are damaged; Check whether there is an interference source near the control line, and whether it is parallel to or too close to the nearby high-current power cable; Check whether there is any change in the potential of the grounding terminal to ensure that the grounding is good.

6. How to deal with the overspeed fault reported by the servo motor when it is running for position control?

The servo Run signal occurs as soon as it is connected: check whether the wiring of the servo motor power cable and the encoder cable is correct and whether there is any damage.

Occurs when running at high speed after inputting pulse commands: the pulse frequency output by the controller is too large, and the program is modified to adjust the frequency of pulse output; The electronic gear ratio is set too large; The servo gain setting is too large, try to readjust the servo gain manually or automatically.

7. How to deal with the inaccurate positioning of the servo motor for position control?

First, check whether the current value of the actual pulse sent by the controller is consistent with the expected value, and check and correct the program if it is inconsistent.

Monitor whether the number of pulse instructions received by the servo driver is consistent with that sent by the controller, and check the control line cable if it is inconsistent; Check whether the setting of the servo command pulse mode is consistent with the controller setting, such as CW/CCW or Pulse + direction;

If the servo gain setting is too large, try to readjust the servo gain manually or automatically; The servo motor is prone to accumulate errors when reciprocating motion, so it is recommended to set a mechanical origin signal under the conditions allowed by the process, and carry out the origin search operation before the error exceeds the allowable range; The accuracy of the mechanical system itself is not high or the transmission mechanism is abnormal (such as the coupling part between the servo motor and the equipment system is offset, etc.).

8. The servo motor does not report overload with load, how to deal with it?

If the servo Run signal is connected and does not pulse:

Check the wiring of the servo motor power cable, check whether there is poor contact or cable damage; If it is a servo motor with a brake, be sure to turn the brake on; whether the speed loop gain is set too large; Whether the integration time constant of the velocity loop is set too small.

If the servo only happens during operation:

whether the position loop gain is set too large; Whether the positioning completion amplitude is set too small; Check that there is no stall on the servo motor shaft and readjust the machinery.
