1. Bearing failure is one of the most common motor failures. As the most important consumable part in servo motors, more than half of the failures of servo motors are usually caused by bearing problems. Its specific manifestations are varied, from jitter and abnormal noise when the motor rotates to the jamming of the motor shaft. It is worth noting that bearing failures, if not dealt with in time, usually lead to secondary damage. For example, rusty debris from bearings flies into brakes or motor encoders, causing even more serious damage. Countermeasures: (1) When using servo motors, it is not allowed to exceed the rated load for a long time; (2) When there is shaft current, add conductive brushes or use motors with insulated bearings; (3) Preventive maintenance of servo motors.
2. When the motor application, especially the connection between the motor shaft and the mechanical equipment, is exposed to a polluted environment, the servo motor usually needs to be equipped with an oil seal. Shaft industrial skeleton oil seals can block contaminants (oil and impurities) and extend the life of the motor. Shafts are susceptible to wear and tear, so they need to be checked and replaced regularly. Countermeasures: preventive maintenance; Depending on the usage, it is recommended to replace it every 3 months and up to 12 months.
3. When the winding fails, a part of the motor will be short-circuited, causing the inside of the motor to burn out. Countermeasures: (1) When using servo motors, it is not allowed to exceed the rated load for a long time; (2) monitoring of current and current accumulation over time; (3) Monitor the winding temperature.
4. Unlike asynchronous motors, the rotor of a servo motor is usually composed of permanent magnets. The permanent magnet sheet is fixed to the shaft of the motor by overlapping or embedding. Countermeasures: (1) Operate at rated load; (2) Avoid accidental collisions.
5. Most of the small and medium power servo motors are self-cooled. For servo motors with high power or special applications, air or liquid cooling is also common. Countermeasures: (1) Install filters for fans and replace them regularly; (2) Regularly inspect the cooling device.
6. Connecting the motor shaft requires a torsional rigid coupling or reinforcing belt. After the motor has been working for a period of time, frequent acceleration and deceleration will cause the coupling or belt to loosen or slip, and it should be re-checked. Countermeasures: Therefore, it is strictly forbidden to use tools to strike shafts, couplings or pulleys when installing or dismantling. When attempting to remove any equipment from the motor shaft, use hydraulics to eject it from the shaft end. As a high-precision electronic device, in addition to standardization in use, daily maintenance also needs attention.

The reason for the maintenance failure of the Buke servo motor that is shut down due to pollution
1. Bearing lubrication failure or bearing surface damage
Contaminants can disrupt bearing lubrication and damage bearing surfaces. This will cause the friction to generate heat. If the problem cannot be solved, the increased heat may cause a catastrophic failure of the bearing and the Buke motor to stop running.
