1 Universal serial port module

2 Based on a dedicated bus

At present, PLC manufacturers such as OMRON, Siemens, etc., have provided a dedicated network system for their PLC products, such as OMRON company's ControllerLink network, DeviceNet network, etc., this network system due to the exclusivity of the manufacturer's products, the equipment of different manufacturers can not be interconnected, basically select a manufacturer's PLC, and other supporting equipment must also be the manufacturer's, the cost is relatively high, so there are certain limitations in the application.

3 Based on standard Industrial Ethernet

Based on the standard industrial Ethernet mode for networking, the system is generally divided into three levels: the first layer is the upper computer monitoring station composed of industrial computers; The second layer is industrial Ethernet, which consists of hubs, twisted pairs, transceivers, etc.; The third layer is the control station, which selects TCP/IP as the communication protocol, and adopts the C/S mode to enable the control station and the monitoring station to achieve connection-oriented communication.

The biggest advantage of using this way of networking is that the existing factory LAN can be used, the comprehensive utilization rate is improved, and the speed is fast, and the Ethernet communication rate can reach 100Mbps; If optical fiber transmission is adopted, the anti-interference ability is greatly enhanced, and the transmission distance can reach tens of kilometers, however, Ethernet can not communicate directly with serial port equipment such as PLC, and needs to be equipped with related equipment to achieve communication, and the cost of use is increased. It is rare to find small and medium-sized control systems in general.
