1. Switch logic control

3. Motion control
The motion control module dedicated to the PLC body can drive stepper motors or servo motors for linear or circular motion. Almost all the products of major PLC manufacturers at home and abroad have motion control functions.

Fourth, process control
As an industrial-grade control computer, PLC can write a variety of control algorithm programs to complete closed-loop control of analog quantities such as temperature, pressure, and flow. Nowadays, many small PLCs are also equipped with modules with this function.

5. Data Processing
The current PLC can complete the collection, analysis and processing of data such as mathematical operations, data transmission, data conversion, sorting, table lookup, and bit operation. This data can be compared with reference values stored in memory to accomplish certain control operations. Data processing is often used in large-scale control systems. Applications such as: flexible papermaking, textile, food industry and other large-scale control systems.
6. Communications and Networks
With the development of industrial plant automation network, PLC manufacturers attach great importance to the communication function of PLC and have launched their own characteristic network systems. Now the PLC is equipped with a communication interface, which makes the communication between PLC and PLC, and the communication between PLC and third-party equipment more convenient. The above points are qualitatively emphasized. PLCs can be large or small in number, so their control range can be large or small. so small that it can only control a certain device, or even a certain part, a certain site; Large enough to control multiple pieces of equipment, production lines, or even entire plants.
