Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

Honeywell's UOP EcofiningTM process converts animal fats, vegetable oils, waste cooking oils, algae oils and more into renewable fuels. The process technology produces SAF that can be blended with petroleum-based aviation fuel at a scale of 1:1 for commercial use without any technical changes to the aircraft, meeting all key flight specifications.

Leveraging its expertise in airworthiness certification, system integration, and aerospace technology know-how, Honeywell works with partners to create a core line of electric propulsion units for a wide range of power levels, fully electric, aircraft.
