Inverter energy saving
The energy saving of the inverter is mainly manifested in the application of fans and pumps. In order to ensure the reliability of production, all kinds of production machinery are designed with power drive, and there is a certain amount of surplus. When the motor cannot run at full load, in addition to meeting the requirements of power drive, the excess torque increases the consumption of active power and causes a waste of electric energy. The traditional speed regulation method of fans, pumps and other equipment is to adjust the air supply volume and water supply by adjusting the baffle plate and valve opening of the inlet or outlet, and the input power is large, and a large amount of energy is consumed in the interception process of the baffle and valve. When using inverter speed regulation, if the flow requirement is reduced, the speed of the pump or fan can be reduced to meet the requirements.
From fluid mechanics, P (power) = Q (flow) × H (pressure), the flow rate Q is proportional to the square of the speed N, the pressure H is proportional to the square of the speed N, and the power P is proportional to the cube of the speed N. That is, the relationship between the power consumption of the pump motor and the speed is approximately proportional. When the required flow rate Q is reduced, the output frequency of the inverter can be adjusted to reduce the motor speed n proportionally. At this time, the power P of the motor will be greatly reduced according to the cubic relationship, and the energy saving is 40% to 50% more energy-saving than the adjusting baffle and valve, so as to achieve the purpose of power saving.
For example, when the power of a centrifugal pump motor is 55 kilowatts, when the speed drops to 4/5 of the original speed, its power consumption is 28.16 kilowatts, saving 48.8%, and when the speed drops to l/2 of the original speed, its power consumption is 6.875 kilowatts, saving 87.5%.
Power factor compensation saves energy
Reactive power not only increases the line loss and the heating of the equipment, but also the reduction of the power factor leads to the reduction of the active power of the power grid, a large amount of reactive energy is consumed in the line, the equipment is inefficient, the waste is serious, after the use of frequency conversion speed regulation device, due to the effect of the internal filter capacitor of the frequency converter, the reactive power loss is reduced, and the active power of the power grid is increased.
Soft-start energy saving
The hard start of the motor will cause a serious impact on the power grid, and it will also require too high the capacity of the power grid, and the large current and vibration generated during the start will cause great damage to the baffle and valve, and the service life of the equipment and pipeline will be extremely unfavorable. After the use of frequency conversion energy-saving device, the use of the soft start function of the frequency converter will make the starting current start from zero, and the maximum value will not exceed the rated current, which reduces the impact on the power grid and the requirements for power supply capacity, and prolongs the service life of equipment and valves. The maintenance cost of the equipment is saved.
